I am looking for a good video card that will go with my computer which has all of the following, but most importantly a 380W PSU => My PSU is the one that comes with this case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811129060

The rest of my computer is as follows:

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16819103300
Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820145184
Hard Drive: 2x http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16822136218
Mother Board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813131324
Keyboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16823126022
Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16824236052
Cd/DVD Drive x2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16827136152
Heatsink/Cpu Fan: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16835185125

Also probably a few more fans if the case can take them.

Please take into consideration the PSU will be enough when you give suggestions.

I am also more of a Nvidia leaner as they are starting to support OpenCL and would like to try and program for that.

For gaming? The 4830 is a great trade-off between performance and low-power. They OC nicely as well, which provides similar performance to a 4850.

Although I'm not exactly sure how well it it would work with a 380w PSU. It's probably OK. Does that PSU come with a 6-pin PCI-e connector?

Just get a 4850; they're generally under $100 now. Spending $30+ extra for a GTS250 is a waste of money (especially considering it performs about the same).

I love when people don't read a poster's specific request.

It has to run on an Earthwatts 380. Definitely wouldn't recommend a 4850 for long-term operation on that.

Either 4770 (if you can find it), or GTS250.

Get the 4770. Set Newegg to auto-notify when they become available and go there as soon as you get the email.

I was simply giving a recommendation based on what I would purchase under the circumstances. I'd buy the 4770 and OC the little ah heck.

He can go with a GTS 250, it would probably work with the Antec EW380.

Dude meclose your an Idiot, your PSU cant handle that GeForce GTS 250. Are you kidding me? It says that they recommend a min of 450. Your fooling yourself, cheap PSUs can only run cheap Graphics Cards.

You made a grave mistake as far as I know.

Oh, the irony.

The manufacturer's suggestions are usually way over-blown.

And in this case LjumPSX "your an Idiot," because the PSU in that Antec is not a cheap POS like used in a lot of cases - it's a very solid & capable Earthwatts 380 model.

meclose - you'll be fine with that card/psu combination. Enjoy!

meclose must be schizo, bashing himself on a second account...

And I wouldn't worry about your PSU, I ran a GTX260 on a 3 year old FSP 400w psu for a few months with no problems. That Antec is a solid unit, it can take it.
