Looking for video capture software

I just got a Hauppauge PVR500MCE and Beyond TV 3.5. The tv recording features are working great. But I didn't realize that with this combo I would not have any software to capture video from an external source going into either the RCA, S-video, or coax connectors. What software do you guys recommend for doing this?

I just got my 150MCE today. and have been using Windows Movie Maker with success. The issue is that I wanna capture to the mpeg format that the card is capable of doing and converting to something else later (or not), rather than having to compress the wmv format.

So yeah, I'd also like to know what software I need.
