Looking for two good online tutorials

Dripping water is easy. Set your camera to the fastest flash sync, manual focus on the plane the drop will be in, and then try and time your shot with the drop.

I wish I had a D70/s for the super fast flash sync, only thing the D80 truly lacks imo 🙁

1/200 is the fastes my D80 does, whereas the D70/s went up to 1/500.

the strobe stuff takes some serious equipment to pull off, basicially those are done on film, tho i guess you could do digital

on film its done in a compleatly dark room where the camera is prefocused and the mirror is left up and depending on the camera the shutter is open as well, and they fire big powerfull strobes at say 1/10000th of a second to get the shots

while the strobes are fireing that fast the film is just advanceing as fast as it can, basicially you burn through a roll on a shot
