Looking for time-lapse photo to video application

I mainly want to have better control over the frame rate. I'm looking for 4-5 fps, whereas QT only allows 2 or 6 fps. I also would like to build in a couple of pauses, but that is not completely necessary, as I can do that later in video editing software.
