I am looking for a case with these specs:

Dual 120mm ( front and rear ) No other Fans
No Doors
Clean Sleek Look
Mid-Tower Case
Black/Silver
Good Quality

Some Cases I like Powermac G5, Lian Li V-1000 to give you an idea of the type of style I like

I already have a Lian Li PC-65B that I bought when I was building my last comp but later decided to get a shuttle and ended up not using it. If I don't find the case I am looking for I could always use this case which I probably should do anyways due to It's just wasting the case again.

Aerocool Masstige - you can remove the fans and block off the side fan vents if you don't want to use them... Comes with a 120 front fan mount that can be located at any three of the 5" drive bays. And I'd use a Lian Li or CM drive cage which would add another 120mm, low speed fan instead of using its two sidesaddle HDD bays.

you basically named a part of the feature list for the LL v1000, it falls perfectly under your requirements.. i have it and the quality is amazing, sometimes i would accidentally knock into it with my chair's wheels but i have yet to see or feel any scratches

Oh, gawd... I should stay out of these threads, but I can't help myself (sometimes)...

Here's the way it is!

If you want the ultimate 'normal' case, go buy a 'Lian Li' case, whatever the hell that is. Personally, I've never seen one in the wild, but these Anandtech mutts seem to be enamored with them, so I say this, tongue-in-cheek, to placate them!

Now, for the real perfect case...

Mountain Mods U2-UFO! Take your pick!

Personally, I prefer the Mountain Mods U2-UFO Opti-1203 hybrid, but I'm kind of a tweak, you know -- 12.5 pounds of aluminum bliss! ThermoChill PA 120.3 radiators are a 'drop-in' with this case, hence the name...

Since you only want 2-12cm fans (no 'perfect' water cooling capabilities) the U2-UFO Optimax is probably the way to go. You can install a ThermoChill PA 120.3, but you'll only have two 12 cm blowholes -- but if that's all you want [shrug]...

Any other questions? :)

Are those the same rubber HDD mounts in the Solo that have been breaking and dropping drives in the P150? Antec has been having a serious materials-engineering problem lately... At least there is the option of mounting the HDDs in removable trays with silicone grommets. That's what I'd use until you are sure the rubber mounts are fixed.

And Provantage.com beats the above price by about $5. shipped, if you do choose the Solo. It is a very nice looking box.

I just read Jimmy's review of the Solo - the review is worh your while if the Solo is on your short list. The main thing I found out there is that depth can still be a problem as with a lot of the similar-sized Antecs (3000, 3700, etc). It needs another inch or so of it to prevent mechanical conflicts with long cards and HDDs. Or perhaps sidesaddle HDD bays would help - but I don't really like those either (block airflow too much).

And check the Rosewill R5601 at Newegg/ChiefValue. It does have a door, but the door leaves the floppy bay and one optical bay exposed and can fold back against the side of the case so it isn't in the way. My review of the R5604 on http://www.TechIMO.com/reviews/ would apply to the R5601 as well. Other than that, your check points are well covered and at a lower price than any other mentioned thus far.

How about THIS case? Comes standard with one 120mm rear exhaust fan with an option for a 120mm intake in the front. No doors. Toolless. Excellent quality. Black & silver. $38.

To the OP:

If the cases already listed don't fit your needs, see the Gigabyte Poseidon. We gave one to a friend for his birthday and he's more than happy with it.

The Gigabyte Poseidon is the same chassis as the CM Centurions, Kingwin 523, etc. etc. A very nice chassis. Their only lack is vibe isolation for the HDDs. They have that extra inch of depth plus sidesaddle HDD bays.

I have a Lian Li PC-7B plus II on the way, you might want to give it a look. The fan arrangement was part of my buying decision too.

I already have a Lian Li PC-65B and kinda regret getting it for my first build

Lian Li; PC-V600, PC-V1000, PC-7.

I love the V-1000 but it's rather expensive

It's okay not quiet what I am looking for

so far I like the Antec Solo case but I wonder what the quality is like and also I am not a big fan of the glossy sides.

edit: also it seems bit expensive considering you can get an antec sonata and a P150 witha power supply for basically the same price and since the P150 and antec solo are very alike seems a bit like a ripoff to me.

The P150 is at least $50 more than the Solo and the Sonata II is over $20. more. The Solo is $71.33 plus shipping at Provantage.com - don't limit yourself to looking at Newegg as they seldom have the best case prices - particularly on Antec. Froogle is your friend.

The Enermax Chakra. May not need any other fans than the big 250 in the side, but there are places for 120 F/R if needed. It's basically the Centurion chassis again done up for Enermax with a big fan.

Silverstone Temjin 4 (SST-Tj04) or Tj02. Both are a bit tight in the depth area as well if you need to use long add-on cards.

Thermaltake Swing has that little extra depth, Tt Armor Jr. (get black because the black one has a 0.8 SECC steel chassis - the silver has 0.8 aluminum so it probably feels flimsy). I don't know why Tt doesn't grasp the fact that the Al has to be thicker to get a sturdy feel. The "doors' on the Jr. are vestigial and removable.

And now for something completely different - XClio A380. It would look decent with the door removed and I don't think it would need any tiny 120mm fans. There is a place for one but I'd just leave that for an air escape vent... ;) Very roomy!

Finally there are the CoolerMaster Praetorians. These are as well made as the Wavemaster (which is to say as well made as any Al case out there) but will need a bit of tinkering to get them up to current standards of cooling and noise abatement. Not too hard to do though.

Or, if you can deal with a larger case, the Silverstone Temjin 5 (SST-TJ05). Can be had in a no side window/non-Eudemon version for ~$120. + shipping. Looks OK w/ the door removed. Also VERY roomy.

I am really liking the Solo seems like a good case I would like to see it in person for quality of the case overall i've also heard bad things about the power button and it has a blue LED ring around it I figure I should be able to disable that easily.

Page doesn't have a particularly good resellerRating - particularly recently. Provantage's isn't great either, but at least I've dealt with them before.

I actually use three engines: Froogle, PriceGrabber and Shopping.com - and sometimes I look at Pricewatch. I'd expect anyone that's hung around here any length of time would do the same.
