Looking for the most quiet 70mm and 80mm fans!

Looking for the most quiet 80mm case fans and a 70mm for replacing CPU the fan. Any suggestions?

First suggestion: Use the search command. You will find several similar threads.

80mm: Panaflo L1A hands down. It is decently priced, and has the best cfm to noise ratio.

It moves plenty of air even at 7V.

hands down, vantec's stealth or panasonic's panaflo.

For 80mm the best option is an L1A Panaflo (forget the Stealth). 70mm fans are harder to come by. I know there are 70mm Panaflo's but they are hard to find through retail channels.

Vantec fans are NOT stealthy. They make a horrible clicking noise, extremely noticable when undervolted. It's just a fan that is slightly better constructred than a generic fan.

Anyways, Panaflos are good, Nexus is a no brainer for quiet. My favourite 80mm fan though is the Arctic Cooling Pro TC. Thermally controlled and very well constructed with little to no motor noise.
