Looking for the best digital camera deal on black friday

My mother just called me today and said my sister want's a digital camera for Christmas, so now it's up to me last minute to find the best bang for the buck here.
I figure this Friday will be my best shot.
So far I see at Walmart the Kodak 3.1MP EasyShare CD33 Digital Camera for $129.74 as a safe bet. I'm looking to spend $150ish. Anyone have any recommendations?

I usually like Canon, so I would say get one of the Canon SD200/300 (and you do not have to wait for black friday!). I am not sure how the Kodak cameras are though. Never took much interest in them.

Why don't you determine your sisters requirements first before you blow $150. Maybe a $100 camera will fit all her needs.

Well, you have sort of a deal in your post, but this really isn't the right place for this discussion.

(I'm feeling polite early in the morning....) 😉

Get the Canon A520 for around $160 online. I've seen it go down to $150 with the right Dell coupons. I have some previous A series cameras and they're great. The A520 has 4X optical zoom, most point and shoots have 3X.

Last minute? WTF Christmas is still a month away. And please don't get that god-awful Kodak.

I purchased my mom a Kodak camera a few years ago and it was horrible. Grant it, it was an early model, 2.1 MP, but I bought it new and it was less than a year before the camera stopped working, and since the beginning it ate batteries like crazy. I have a Cannon S400 and absolutely love it, so this year I'm buying Cannon for my family, since they too are looking for digital cameras.

just my 2 cents..
