Looking for something to help me stay up and keep focused

With my current job, it requires me to stay up for extended periods of time. Sometimes as much as 3-4 days with maybe 4 hours of sleep total.

It is a natural tendency for me to get tired when I get bored, I had this problem in school too because I would just go to sleep during long lectures. At this point in my life it can be very dangerous when I get sleepy, such as when I have to make a 6 hour drive back to the shop at 3 a.m. This can be very dangerous when I have to drive on the road. I had this problem in school

I am looking for something to help me keep focused and help me stay up while I am working and driving (something legal. and coffee does nothing for me!). Any suggestions would be great :)

I am a field Engineer for halliburton, open hole logging. I wish I could get sleep, but many times when running tools down the well I have to stay up, and many times this can take many many hours.

You have to learn how to stay up with this job, which is one of the hardest parts :(

Try out all the different energy drinks currently available. My friend, who also says coffee does nothing for, drinks these to keep himself awake. I am the exact opposite. Coffee gives me the needed extra energy in the morning, but energy drinks do nothing for me.

It appears your mind and and mine are on the same one-way track to moral oblivion. ;)

Energy drinks do nothing for me too. Is there any herbal pills that could help? Something like Focus Factor?

A spoon of this should solve this ;) Only consume caffeine if you're really down. If you consume it too often, your brain creates additional receptors for the hormones that make you tired.
