Looking for something to do around Stamford, CT... any help?

Hey, I'm visiting my dad here in Stamford, CT... been here around a week already, and got until the 1st of August until I got to go back. Besides a nice trip to do some whitewater rafting in Pennsylvania (although it was more like calm water rafting) and watching all the movies I can, I'm looking for something else I can do around here. My only plan for the remaining week and a half is going to Lollapalooza at Jones Beach at the 31st, I got nothing to do, and my dad is pretty much working all the time. Anyone from around and have any idea what to do?

My dad used to work at the WWF headquarters... ah well, not anymore. Anyhow, I'm looking more for maybe clubs or something like that... maybe somewhere to go out to at nights. Although I'm only 20, which makes me not drinking age here (unlike Israel, where I've been Legaly drinking since 18). Anyway, any tips?

there's a good rock gym in stamford called go vertical.

there's also a beach not too far away.

nyc is only a short train ride away as is foxwoods and mohegan sun i believe.
