So I am in need of some software that will help me create a survey. I am looking to email people a survey and have them complete the survey right from the email and then send it back to me. Problem is, I don't write html code :( Surely there is a program that let's me design what I want and then it gives me the code or ability to send it via email?

Or... if there is a website you guys know of that lets you host surveys online for free without any major limitations, that would work as well.

Or really any ideas at all? I'm looking for the easiest free method to administer surveys. It has to look professional though.

Google docs have the ability to create "forms" that keep track of results in a workbook (exportable to excel). I think you can choose the option to email the URL right after you create it. I don't know if it can send embedded directly in the email though, but it's a free option if you can't find another.

I use it from our organization, but a training I was at says anyone can set up an account (to create the survey). You can make the survey private or public.

Cool, I'm glad docs will work for you.

It was fresh in my mind because our school is moving away from ms office and local apps to google docs, and the teachers love it so far. They create surveys and tests and just host them for the students to take.
