Looking for sneaker forum/websites

I just visited Harputs in San Francisco and I saw some amazing shoes. I was looking for some websites that cover sneakers in general, just to get some idea of the different Nike and Adidas shoes out there but I wasn't able to find any sites like that.

I know they have sites that showcase what's new and upcoming, what's cool and what's not for cars, computers, video games, movies, music, etc...so where's the sites to read up on sneakers?

Thank you!!! I saw that other thread on "sneaker help." WTF? Sneakers are SNEAKERS, dammit. Everybody knows what sneakers are.

Now, does anyone know what "kicks" are? 😀





















AFAIK, "kicks" is a Northeastern term (circa early 1980's) for sneakers. Which is early 1970's for "athletic shoes." 😀

Well, you might want to try Niketalk, as they have several forums about shoes. However, like the name says, it's mostly nike and Jordan Brand focused, although they do occasionally discuss other brands.

Nocturnal, i'm guessing you missed on the Retro XI's that were released this year and last year?

argh...i need more shoes...new dress shoes and new athletic shoes. My two pairs of Adidas's have failed me miserably 🙁
