I need some games to play with my girlfriend over our network. Her threshhold for excitement so far is Heroes of Might and Magic IV (turn-based). She hated Warcraft III because it was too crazy. She loves playing simple games though, and I really want to be able to play games with her. I'd love some suggestions for some simple, fun games we can play with one another.

Other clues... she loves "Tux Racer" - the game w/ the racing linux penguin. If only it were multiplayer... Oh, she also loves Armagetron, but it's just so darn buggy. Thanks!

Thanks but real-time strategy games are too frantic. Simple racing games, or other simple competitive games would probably be best. Something cute would definitely be a plus.

I would agree on worms since you want it simple. :)

My gf went crazy with wc3 and Diablo 2 though. :D

The Typing of The Dead.

I'm sure you've never heard of it, but it's hella fun, and then some. Good luck finding it, though.

here's the demo for you to try out - it's hella fun!

Ooh, good one. It's available for Dreamcast too BTW. :)

Someone else knew about the game! Even so much that it was out for the DC!

Knew about it? I own it and two keyboards! :D

How about checkers or I dunno, worms and the yahoo games are good choices but I wouldn't know since I've never had a girlfriend.

I played Baulder's Gate 2 with a former gf... you could try Neverwinter Nights as well. You can set up the fights so it pauses after every round, allowing you to make decisions.

We also played MMORPG games like Everquest and Anarchy Online together... those were actually more fun together.
