I'm having major issues with Outpost and BF2. I just can't connect to the net with Outpost in the way. I tried so many things already to try to get it work (it's a component control issue) and none of it helps. This included not only setting BF2 to trust mode but actually even disabling component control (still get the pop up about component control blocking access).
So I've had enough, especially this is not the first time that Outpost has done this sort of thing. Been using it for years and since my license is about to expire anyway I figure I should try out other firewalls.
So far, I tried Zone Alarm and Kerio and uninstalled rather quicly. I just don't care for how things are set up. It's very easy to set ports etc in Outpost compared to these two. I was going to try Tiny Personal as well but it looks far from intuitive. I think the issue here is that I've grown accustomed to Outpost. Any programs that are similar in setting up would be nice.
