looking for printer recommendation

I have a B&W printer that needs to get replaced. I'm hoping to keep the price for the new one under $300, and would only be using it to print B&W invoices on letterhead. The printer would only be hooked up to one computer, so networking isn't a factor.

any recommendations would be appreciated.
 
I purchased a Brother HL-40 at Fry's yesterday. I am very impressed with it. It was $50 after rebate ($70-$20). Their list price is $120.

Newegg wants $125.
