Looking for Pioneer DVD 16x Slot Load in Black Bezel

I need help in finding this Pioneer Slot DVD in black bezel. I had searched online, but no result. I was thinking about to buy the white one, and paint it to black. However, can I take off the bezel? I think it's better off to paint the bezel if it's not attached to the DVD. Anyone has the experience with Pioneer DVD 16x Slot Load??? Thanks for replying.

Just paint it. You can take off the bezel. Buy some Plasticote Vinyl paint. You don't even have to sand it or prime it. Just give it a couple coats and it will look like it came from the factory that way.

Suitsuiw, you can buy black Pioneer 16x DVD slot loaders at harddrive.com for $100. It's spendy, but if you don't want to paint your bezel, I don't see another option.

I just returned a Pioneer DVD-106S because it would not read cdr's. It tried, but would not even start a nero cdrom test. I picked up a ASUS DVD-E616, and it performs much better. A much better drive in my eyes.

I know www.hardrive.com sell those black components, but too damn expensive. Newegg sell few, though. Anyway, for the black bezel only, they only have for Plextor CDRW. The others are include the components.

Also check Directron-- I know they sell lots of black stuff.
