My Abit IP35 took a turn for the worst. I currently have a Q6600. I need to get a replacement. I want a board that supports XFIRE and Raid and something that can attain my 3.2 OC. I am looking at the Gygabite UD3P which I know is a great board. But I can buy a ASUS P5Q-E or MSI P45 NEO2-FR locally. They both have XFIRE and Raid. I guess the difference is if I wait 3 days for the Gygabite I will be down a computer until this weekend. If I buy the MSI or Asus I can get it running today. Im a gamer also and have raids this week I would rather not miss. Let me know your thoughts on the above boards.

Thanks.

With UD3P, you just toggle CPU/MCH reference from 63%-67% and you'd be flying, don't forget and HDT cooler also or a TRUE+200-800grit sandpaper :) .

Goodluck,

+1 on the UD3 series - although I do have a dual 8400 on a Asus P5Q Premium doing 500fsb but the UD3 series will take your quad to 500fsb no doubt

Wolfie@500fsb (let me guess) 400 strap 1:1@PL10-11 Cas5-5-5-15 = Too easy :p

Any mid range mb like I45/UD3/P5Q-E can do this such thing and pocket the change of course. Try 550FSB at least and I'll give you my full respect.

I can't give you any respect because your "guessing" is wrong and i might add anything that I might say in my bios settings you will not give respect to unless i reach your "hard to reach" 550fsb, buaaahhahahhahh

but did the OP know dualies are easier to run 500+fsb than a quad @ 500fsb, not to mention how many sticks of ram squares the situation, that was my point, not to brag foo :D

Listen the OP wanted to swap his mb for UD3P using a Q6600 (Quad). Then you come out of nowhere trying to extend your e-peen on your wolfie@500fsb lol.....Lets drop this non-sense as it's not worth arguing :) .
