I'm looking for outdoor day/night 802.11 wireless cameras. Looking for something that is a static/hard mount type cam that doesn't pan/tilt etc. Prefer color, and must have night ability.
I've found some, but the problem tends to be price. THey are typically wihin the $350 to $900 range and I'm hoping to find one eventually in the $100 range.
I basically want to mount 2-3 of these outside my house under the eves to capture movement down the front of the house, rear, and perhaps side garage door.
I figure that because I already have wireless throughout the house, 802.11 cameras would be the easiest, quickest, most clean, install.
I know DLink has a nice one but that's not rated for outdoors and does the pan/tilt thing so it's $$$.
Hoping some of you have some experience with these... Seems the home market for cameras is growing and I'm thinking if I can't get a cheap solution today, then maybe next year will see an inexpensive solution.
