Looking for new Socket 939 & MB

Looking of advice for a new CPU and MB.
I had some luck with a mobile XP 2400 so I want at least a 2.5mhz o/c.

I have a slk-948U that I traded my socket-a one for
kept the 90mm tornado fan should I go 120mm?
Kept the 512x2 OCZ EL DDR PC-3500 Dual Channel Enhanced Latency CH-5

Ok. What should I get. 3200, 3500, 3800 of a fx53 ? and what motherboard?
I think my next step is a new p/s for the old AT case that I am converting. Which one?

the most cut and dry raw horsepower rig you could do is an FX55, but thats uber expensive...much better option is this:
CPU-A64 3200+ 90nm-these will OC to 2.6ghz or so on air.

Motherboard-MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum

and that just so happens to be my dream rig atm...anyway, thats about as good as it gets for the performance/price ratio.

it sounds like you have a pretty healthy budget, so for the PSU i would recommend this:

Tell me about it! I just placed my order for one but the thought of having an AMD cpu running at 3Ghz..... "DROOL"

I have a 3500+ retail 13 micron chip in an MSI K8T neo2F motherboard.

This thing does 2500 (250x10) all day long at 1.55-1.6V core and idle temps are around 36c with the stock retail cooler.

I was planning on selling it to get something else.
