I use a couple of these, although I got a much better price on them. Not sure what happened there.

I have a bike stored in my office and in my family room though. My wife puts up with it, thankfully. I pretty much have cycling shit all over the place.

I've got that too, They work pretty well and are very stable, as long as the ground is

Other option would be the wall hook where your wheels are lined up vertically and its hanging

any creative ways to store these things without taking up a ton of space? No garage but a full basement (8' ceiling). I don't suppose it's bad to put 1 hook way up high and just hang the front wheel on it while the rear still touches the ground?

Not a problem and it wouldn't be a problem with the rear wheel off the ground either.

I just have bikes leaning on crap all over the house but I'm single lol.

While all my road, CX, kids bikes are hanging from their front wheels, some hydraulic brakes and some of my suspension forks like to be more flat.

For my mountain bikes, I put a pipe horizontally between vertical supports in my basement, and just hang the bikes from the pipe by the saddles. The bikes are horizontal that way. Doesn't save a lot of space though.

I am considering trying something like this:

I took the boy to Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park this past weekend and we had a BLAST. I was hoping it would cure the cycling itch, but all it did was make it worse :colbert:

I'll tell you what though, I'm just now rested back up. We got there Saturday morning, rode all freakin' day, and then got steaks for dinner. Stayed at a hotel, and did the same thing the next day. We were beat when it was all said and done.

Very cool place... something that every mtb'er should do at least once if they get the chance. Rent their bikes, though. Don't bring your own. Everything is so tight (and the XC course isn't very long or flowy) that there's no point in shifting gears at all. All of their rentals are singlespeeds, which is just fine for the park (and the weight savings is NICE). Rentals were just over $10 and the bikes were in good shape.

trying to understand - how would this be different than just using the kickstand? Other than the slight lean of course.
