Looking for monitoring software for my e6400

Hello all,

I just put together a new e6400 rig and am lloking for software to monitor the cpu is there anything to show the individual care usage and an accurate core temp?

Well to monitor your temps, most people use this: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=103638 along with motherboard monitor and/or speedfan. The new core 2 duo cpus have an on die temp sensor and the program "core temp" supposedely reads from that sensor.

I personally use motherboard monitor and speedfan.

CoreTemp is becomming the standard it seems for monitoring the Conroe proc temps. SpeedFan temp numbers are not as accurate supposedly. I use both as a comparison. Some people use Everest because its program offers the abilities of both CoreTemp and SpeedFan from what I hear. Everest isnt free though.

Thanks guys I have core temp but it does crash allot so far great temps OC'ed to 3.2 ghz 42c idle 53c loaded
