Looking for mice recommendations to replace my G500 (Logitech)

I've loved Logitech mice ever since the M100. I've used at least six different generations of them and they have slowly been going away from what suits me. My G500 is dying (phantom clicks and clicks not registering) and I was hoping to move up to a G600 or G700, but they aren't appealing at all. The G600 is useless to me since I don't play MMOs and the G700 has four thumb buttons which is also useless to someone with big hands.

So, does anyone have any recommendations for a reliable mouse with 10ish buttons? Needs to have at least two thumb buttons (if it has more, they can't be so close together like on the G700).

Edit: I forgot to say that the G500S looked good, but Newegg doesn't sell them and there's been more than a few reviews for Funtech (the current sellers for the 500S) that make me hesitant to buy from them. I guess I could find one elsewhere like Amazon, but I'd like to hear some other recommendations first.

The Proteus... yea, I've seen that thing. I just hate mice that look like they should be sitting on a desk during a Star Trek DS9 episode. I've always preferred mice in the MX510/518/G500 style. The G700 looks great, but the four thumb buttons are a bit too close together for someone with big hands since when I held the mouse, my thumb was sitting on all four buttons evenly. It would be a bit difficult to press individual buttons.

I agree on the look - don't love it. Like my peripherals to look simple and something you could use in an office setting. The feel is great however (in my opinion of course!).

I use a Logitech G602. It's wireless and I use it for gaming and I cannot tell that it's wireless. The batteries lasts for 200+ hours of constant use. You can get it for $40. My previous mouse still in use on another computer, the G5. I am a Logitech fan but not completely brand loyal. My next mouse will be the Logitech G502 Proteus. I use a G15 gaming keyboard that is 10 years old and still works like brand new.

I've heard many say if you like the MX510/MX518 mice, then the G403 is the closest replacement. The G502 looks ridiculous yeah, which is a huge issue. I think it's a decent mouse but it may not be for everyone. I bought one and am considering returning it actually because of that damn sniper button. If you're not some hardcore professional gamer who plans on building a career around the mouse, then I think G403 may be more suited. I'm going to play a little more with my buddy's G403 to test it out before deciding to switch over.
