Looking for martial arts info

Would anyone like to suggest some sites where i can find information on various styles of martial arts? I want to do some research and pick something i'd like to learn in the future. If anyone has any suggestions, i'd like to hear them as well. I'm looking for something practical, perhaps something similar to what they teach in the army and the police.
