Has anyone here had any experience with buying bulk empty lip balm cases to fill? I really don't know any place off the top of my head and searching "lip balm cases" hasn't given me many results. Is there another term I could use or has anyone every purchased any?

Thanks

BTW, I'm looking for the tube, not the clam-style.

Is this for a business, or personal use? For personal you may be able to get used ones from friends, business I don't know.

For business.

Here's the instruction on how to make lip balm:

Actually, this is one of the easiest products to make and it is very inexpensive to make. All you need for a base is Sweet Almond oil ( some folks prefer coconut oil ) and Beeswax pearls and a few drops of Wheat Germ Oil. A rule of thumb is 2 parts oil to one part beeswax pearls and a drop or two of Wheat Germ Oil. Simply heat the Sweet Almond oil in a saucepan and add Beeswax Pearls. If you want a thin consistency ( such as a cream or Vaseline ) add only a little bit of Beeswax Pearls. Want it thicker like wax? Just add more Beeswax Pearls.

Allow the base to cool down to see what the consistency is like. If it's too thick, add more Sweet Almond oil and reheat, too thin?, add more Beeswax Pearls.

As the base is cooling add a few drops of essential oils to enhance the healing effect of the balm. Comfrey, Rosemary, Tea Tree or Camphor Oils are excellent for this. These essential oils can be found in our Essential Oil List.
After you have added the essential oil and the lip balm is still warm enough to pour, carefully pour it into Lip Balm Jars or Lip Balm Tubes, we offer both below.

Note: 4 ounces of Sweet Almond oil and two ounces of Beeswax Pearls will make more than enough base to fill 12 ea. ¼ oz. jars or tubes. Unused base can be stored for a very long time for future use.

Note: To add color to your lipbalm, you can use natural colorants and micas, but most our customers simply use a bit of colored lipstick melted with the base to add color.
