Looking for large external storage

I am kicking around ditching my desktop which now houses 2x 100GB Western Digitals and going to an external firewire/usb2.0 enclosure for my drivers. Does anyone know of some competent units that maybe incorporate some sort of RAID in an external drive enclosure with some serious space?

Nothing says storage like an external SCSI RAID array. You can also get network attached devices that contain a TB of storage space.
 
I don't want a SCSI array because I want to hook it up to either my htpc or my laptop, neither of which have scsi. Plus its about 2x more expensive if it says SCSI on it and I'm not going to run a web-cluster off this thing or anything like that.
