How are the 515s vs the 555s? I know you can get 555s for $70 refurb for example.

Not to thread jack, but a quick question regarding headsets - how reliable are wireless headsets (w/ mic)? Are they just as good as wired ones? Just curious.

JVC HA-RX700 sound very, very good...especially given the price. Or HA-RX900 (there's a mod out for them that, apparently, makes them sound VERY good). They are priced at $35 and $55.

I love my HD280Pro for gaming. I use a Logitech desktop mic in place of a headset mic.

Do not get the HD280Pro for gaming unless you like having a headache after a hour or so. They are good sounding headphones but very uncomfortable. Sorry but the most important thing about good headphones, no matter what your using them for, must be comfort first or you will hardly ever wear them.

If you don't believe me just go try them out at a store. I am so glad I don't use the HD280 Pro headphones anymore. They are sitting hear gathering dust and won't ever be used by me again.

Thats funny because I don't have a very big head at all. It is not nearly the size of a watermelon. Oh and if someone tries to turn that around I am already expecting it so be warned.

Yes I have tried the trick of stretching out the HD280 pro headphones it still did not help. After about a hour or two they started to hurt my head and give me a headache. Sorry but what is the point of having headphones if they are not comfortable to wear?

There is a reason why I told him to go try on headphones before buying them. The Sennheisers have always been tight.

Just bugging ya that's all.

Yeah but your not bugging me is the thing. Just spreading false facts at first. If I would of known how the HD280pros would be even after stretching them out I would of never bought them well over 4 years ago.
