Looking for "Jungle Juice" recipes...

Changing the subject? I answered your question and provided you with the alcohol content of Dimetapp. Yes, I know what Jungle Juice is and I have had it as can be seen by the recipe I provided above. Dimetapp was recommended because it tastes just like Grape Kool Aid.

The Real Jungle-Juice

Ingredients:
1 fifth Everclear (190 proof)
6 bags Fruit (berries, cherries, pineapple, or whatever)
2 1/2 gal Fruit punch
Mixing instructions:
Mix all the stuff togather in a big container. Start with everclear add juice and then fruit. Stir togather, don't eat fruit for a while let it soak up some of the everclear.

Creator/contributor's comments:
This is a great party drink, but heed my warning this stuff is very strong!! If desired make any amount you wish, just double the ingredients.

thats the recipie i think of when i hear of "jungle juice"....usually have to let it sit in the fridge for a couple hours to soak up the clear into the fruit....
also theres the version where u poke a couple holes in a watermelon...fill it up with vodka...then stick the thing in the freezer...when u go to serve the juice u have scoops of the melon as "ice"

Jungle Juice is the king of mix drinks, but please be careful. If done right, you can't tell there is alcohol in it. Be sure to watch people, and tell them ahead of time to SIP it and now gulp them down. I know many people who have had alcohol poisoning from JJ because they gulp it down like regular Kool-aid 😕

Edit: Oh and make sure to add plently of fruit, and have it set for about 6 hours. Orange slices and Strawberries are a must!! Kiwi, lemon, and lime are also interesting to add.

We use to make a version of jungle juice that we call "Hop-Skip-Go Naked". It's as follows 1 case of beer (the cheaper the better), 1 gal vodka with some juicey juice for flavoring.

Our "Hunch Punch" recipe is:

1 750ml Everclear/PGA
1 750ml Bacardi 151
1 1.75L cheap vodka
1 2L Sprite

The night before, put some water into empty water bottles and freeze so you don't water your punch down with melting ice cubes
Pour all the booze and Sprite into a cooler then fill it to about 3/4 full with your fruit juices of choice. Throw in some watermelon cubes, orange slices, cherries, etc.. and let sit for at least 6 hours. Serve. 🙂

For the love of god man, that would put down a bear. We have strict concentual laws here in IL... Coma like states will land me in the big house for 5 to 10 🙂

one ten gallon bucket
two jugs of vodka
1 canister of powdered punch
1 box of cane sugar
1 bowl of chopped fruits
1 bottle of 151

i heard everclear is great stuff to use but i just go with 151

That's how I've always seen it made. That's regular jungle juice to me. 🙂

make sure to use mixed fruit slices, very tasty. i personally prefer carbonated drinks so i like to add like a 2L of pepsi blue, i find it to be the most carbonated drink and it tastes like berries 😀

Everclear is illegal here in CA so we just use vodka...

but ooh man ive taken a shot of Everclear before at a party (friend brought back a bottle from CO) and it BURNS like no other. i thought my mouth, throat, and stomach was on FIRE. never again shall i take a straight shot of that again....ooof.

Heh, I didn't even mention the occasional "flavor" liquors we'll occasionally use (fruit flavored liqours). 🙂

It's actually not that bad, you just have to be careful how much fruit you eat because while the punch has a nice kick the fruit are deadly.

Well this was the recipe I went with, and it was a hit, but my god is it potent. I inflicted unspeakible punishment on my liver last night. Despite knowing better, I couldn't stop drinking it... it's so good when it hits your lips 🙂

I just had a party last weekend where we made 15 gallons of delicious jungle juice. We used 20 cans of minute made Fruit Punch, 1.25 Gallons of everclear (that's 5 bottles) and ~ 8lbs of chopped fruit (watermelon, apple, banana, strawberry, orange).

It was perfect -- couldn't taste the obscene amounts of alcohol in it, resulting in a truckload of sugar-high'd, drunk-of-their-asses college people. Especially college girls. Heh.
