More details will help out here. Is this what you plan on booting from so you will be doing a fresh install of xp? I think you have to press F6 to load the drivers when prompted and have them on a floppy disk just in case windowns doesn't want to load them. It will basically make the array and treat it as a single hard drive. Are there any instructions in the motherboard manual?
Well this is pretty much an pre-build question. I just ordered my HD's and mobo and expect them here later this week, I'll be using the raid as the primary drives and installing a fresh copy of XP. I am just really trying to gather as much information beforehand as possible because once i start building the machine I'll be without an I-net connection.
Its pretty simple, did it myself and had it up in no time with no real direction. Load the driver and go from there. Build the array selecting the two drives (best to just leave the other unnecessary items unhooked) and install windows.
