looking for host

approx what will that run me? What factors should I consider in searching for a host?

If he needs 25GB of transfer per day, finding a webhost isn't going to depend on what he's transfering. The decision will be made based on how much as far as bandwidth goes. Other things like user databases with lots of users and having more than 20 logged in at a time all doing stuff is all going to depend on the hardware build of the server, what DB he's going to be using, and how fast the connection to the server is --still doesn't effect how much bandwidth he's going to be using.

right, heh, more like 400 users, 24/7. how much does at forums use?

Last time I heard from Jason, AT forums use something like 35GB or 40GB per day. Anand pays A FORTUNE for that.

Remember the subscriber forums? $35 per year for no ads? There were quite a few (dozen?) folks who subscribed and it *still* didn't pay for the forums.
