Hi, all.

I'm looking to build another computer using those smaller Shuttle/XPC/whatever chassis. I travel a lot for work for weeks at a time, and also frequest LAN parties with some co-workers, so I've been interested in these for the portability ever since they came out. I don't feel like shelling out the money for a laptop (already have 2 anyway), and want something a bit more durable. I see now that some of these cases are coming out with 250watt power supplies as well which seems nice.

I am looking specifically for a barebones case that will accept a Barton processor, and have wireless 802.11g built-in. I can't seem to find any that fit this criteria and I've been looking at a bunch of sites. I found one that had wireless, but it was for P4 architecture. I really like the MSI case with the front panel media center thing; would like this machine to also be my MP3 server.

If anyone has any firsthand knowledge or maybe even a few website links I can check out for myself, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Do you have a Fry's near you? They have a nice selection and this is something I recommend you take a look at in person.

I'm not sure that I have ever seen one with AMD and wireless. I know the special edition p4 one you are talking about... but IIRC I did look for a similar one for AMD when I saw that (to compare prices) and was unable to fine one.

Only the SB61G2R and SB65G2 come preinstalled with the 802.11b WiFi adapter. You need to get this accessory to make all other Shuttles WiFi capable. There are rumours that a 802.11g will be available soon. Sorry, don't know exactly when.
