looking for headphones

I'm not a huge fan of any of the earbuds I've tried when it comes to working out. None seem to fit well enough. Was at Best Buy tonight and they had the Sony XB500's on demo. They were super light and felt very comfortable for the few minutes I wore them. I wasn't overly impressed with the SQ though. Maybe it was just the source they were using, but the highs sounded strained and the bass wasn't even that good. Here's what I'd like to find in some cans

lightweight
comfortable on my large head
decent SQ.

The Sonys fit the bill, but they cost too much for what you get IMHO. I have no problem paying $80 for some cans, but if I pay that much I expect much better SQ. I have some Phillips Cans but they're huge and heavy. I would be open to earbuds if I could find some that stayed in my ear while jogging. The 4 different brands I've owned all don't stay in well. My budget here's $100'ish

Check out the Koss KSC-75. Solid sound quality, cheap, durable, clip on standard or you can get the Portapros or find a simple headband if you want a headband (I didn't get a good fit with the standard clips, so I bought some cheap FM radio from Wal-Mart that had headphones with a solid metal band that fit the retention clips of the Koss). I'm not a fan of earbuds/IEMs for working out as they don't stay put well enough. Maybe if you had the silicon ear guides that come with the Phonak Audeo. I wouldn't be a fan of full size headphones either, too sweaty and they'd get uncomfortable I would think.

I believe Grado and Ultrasone have some cheaper highly portable headphones. You might check out Yuin, as I think they have a model or two that are similar to the KSC-75, but should offer even better sound quality.

Never heard of Ultrasone before today, I had Grado's before and loved them, but they weren't exactly comfortable, These Ultrasone look almost perfect for what I need and fall into my price category. Thanks for the suggestion.
