People need to stop blindly recommending G550 cards as a DVI solution.

Edit: Sorry, I just noticed Adul didn't specify DVI..my mistake, although I think I'd want to use DVI on that panel.

No, matter what nice to know it. :) The matrox homepage is definately not user friendly.

for overview, apperently the P series are need for high res DVI, but it appears that only PCI and PCIe are low profile........

Newegg has a bunch of 9250 where the card is half-height and only the bracket itself is full-height (like the one JToxic linked) if someone there has bracket-modding skills

You're probably limited to a 7000, 8500, 9200, 9200SE, 9250, 9200SE, 9550SE, 9600SE, MX4000, FX5200, FX5500, 6200 or XGI Voltari class VPU.

we can use vga just fine :).

I'd shop a little more. Thats very expensive for a decent 2D card, and VGA on that panel at native resolution would be a real shame. Basically, your paying way to much for an inferior card for your application. Surely there has to be a decent half height AGP card with DVI for half that price that will be much better.
