looking for good memory, suggestions?

im looking for 1gb-1.5gb of ram. DDR400, at least, but faster is prefered. ive had corsair value select and kingston value ram, and want something better. if you have any suggestions, great, if you know of any good deals or sales going on, even better. thanks

higher speed rating and/or overclocking potential. and lower latency is a must have. im thinking lower than 3-3-4

is there something midrange between value select and ocz's platinum series? i can spend a decent amount more than the value line, but i dont really want to spend 165 on ram, id say around 125ish or less

For what platform? Are you looking for a 1024mb stick, or would 2-3x512mb work?

2x512 would be a need, as im going to be running it in dual channel.
