Looking for good free capture software

I got a Hauppage winPVR 150 and am in need of some decent software to capture some old home movies from a VCR.

I dont need any features really other than the ability to capture the audio and video and for it to be free. what do you recommend?

No.

VDub is probably the most popular free package, it's been around for years and I've used it a bit but it's not as polished as the commercial ones.
