Looking for good backup software ...

I tried the built in "Backup" tool in Windows XP... it sucks. A lot. If I append to the current backup file, rather than just add a new label w/ its own hierarchy, it just adds another "C:" to the same label as the last backup. Very messy & ugly.

What is a good backup software to have (free or commercial.. but preferably free)? It must allow backup to file, CD, tape drive, etc., and full scheduling.. and incremental backups.
