Looking for good backup software

I'm currently trying to solve some minor hiccups with a backup process. Currently, using Win2k server's built-in utility, some files are being skipped because they are "in-use". I can't upgrade the system to 2k3 server for a while, so in the interim I need a third-party utility to backup files. I've found SyncBackSE, which claims it can copy open/locked/in-use files, but unfortunately it runs into similar problems. (Though on completely different files, which is interesting) I'm hoping y'all can recommend some other utilities which could provide an all-in-one solution, rather than the current "patchwork" backup scheme. Money might be an issue, I'm not sure; free is certainly prefferable, but I really only care if it works.

Wow, that's really, really good software. Though for my purposes, I think it's a bit of overkill. I don't really need an entire server backup so much as just a HDD backup. Windows Backup would be fine if it handled locked/in-use files, if that helps give you an impression of my needs.
