Looking for front-access audio ports

Was wondering if anyone could suggest a good product to add front access audio ports to my machine...? Other than getting a SB Live (I'm running a VIA chipset) or a GTXP (don't like the external box), the only things I've found are the Asus iPanel (not running an Asus board) and this cheezy looking Frontx panel... Ideally, I'd like something that would allow me to leave my speakers plugged into the back of the PC and cut them off when headphones are plugged into the front.

So if anyone knows of such a product out there, or of plans on how I can rig one up (with the cutoff switch), I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd share. ^_^

maddmaxx, do you know what the volume control is for, since the kit seems to simply bring the ports from the back to the front ?

Tried a little research, but came up empty as to what the volume control actually controls. Maybe someone that actually owns one can tell us.

My company did a product like this but never manufacturered it, we found hoontech.com and I think Apache Micro of the US who had similar products. If they dont have sth suitable use a splitter on the rear and a extender cable, get PC speakers with headphone out, make sth using the spdif sig on the aud_ext pin 22, buy the creative front panel (£80).
