Looking for free Software to recover data from CD-RW

Friends of my wife have only one CD-RW (silly people) with their family pictures. I tried some Software of Download.com and the folder still exists and I was able to view some pics. Problem is to be able to save I would have to buy the Software for 40$. Figure I ask before I dish out some money if anyone knows a free or public software that does the same trick?

My mother did the same thing and I'm looking here to see if anyone else had the same problem.

I have Easy recovery 6.0, but it won't look at a cd drive. I've used it before on a hard drive with good results.


What did you use to see them on the cd-rw?
