I'm not seeing much in the way of after market LGA775 HS&Fs at Newegg. This would probably be your best bet. Anything else doesn't look like a vast improvement over the stock HS&F.

BTW, have you already bought this setup? What will you be using it for?

EDIT: Welcome to AT!!

I have not purchased this yet. I'm planning for it right now. I want to go with an asus MB and possible a P4.. in the 2.8-3.0 range.
I will be using it for multimedia mostly. It will also double as a small biz machine.
Mostly multimedia though.

I just wanted to point out that he should go a different route.

Its been pretty well agreed that A64s are a much better purchase at the moment and that Intels socket T processors are a disappointment and the P4 is just becoming old enough to not bother building a new system with.

If I am biased it is toward Intel, since thats what I've always bought, but right now I realize that an AMD would be a better choice.

Hmm, that's good, because I just noticed the MB/CPU you have are incompatible with eachother! That CPU is a LGA 775pin P4. The motherboard you have listed only supports 478pin Pentium 4s. You'll want to pick a P4 "C" or "E" . Preferably, a "C".

Multimedia, you say? Can you be more specific?

I agree 110%. However, how can the OP infer this from your above message? This would've been a much better post.
