Hey everyone, I was wondering if you knew of any good diagram animation software. I'm interested in making some animations like those found at howstuffworks.com

Here's an example

I'm sort of looking for something along the lines of CAD.. where I can input specific unit sizes and everything, but would also like the ability to animate my diagrams.

I know I'm sure I'm asking a lot out of this software.. but I would also like it if it had the ability to do both 2d and 3d.

So, does anyone have any ideas?
