looking for cheapest retailer to buy vista ultimate 64 bit full version

MS will send you a 64 bit version for $10.00 if you have a legit copy of Vista 32. If you don't then maybe it'll be cheaper to buy a 32 bit and then get the 64 bit from MS.

That's the OEM version. It will give you headaches once it is time to upgrade your PC.

If I were you I'd get Home Basic or Premium since they have most of the features for about as much but Retail.

OEM version is single use only, you cannot install it on a new pc or upgrade to 64bit.

Home Premium is kinda the sweet spot. Basic is missing options like Aero which frankly is maybe one of the more overwhelming good features people notice right off.

Nevertheless Vista is great...while the naysayers may argue otherwise, I think it's much more bearable than XP.
