I don't know why Squirrel doesn't care about facts, it's so weird. Samsung uses 7 different companies (one of them being LG) to source their panels.

He had the instructor fail him so he could re-take it, since he had trouble with the section on calculating a rafter's length (and you can't re-take it if you pass).
Ah, well, my unsolicited advice is to focus on studying up on that until you can't do it wrong and save deep dives on the other topics for once you've passed the class and are comfortable at the new job.

I was thinking about creating a mod in a video game of large sentient integrated circuits on the loose. XD

Kind of like this:

I wanted to do the mod in a first person shooter.

I'm considering 'operation flashpoint cold war crisis' due to it being the first FPS with air/land/sea vehicles and set in modern times.
That's nice, good luck. But this is a game that already exists that can help you learn about circuit logic. You kind of have a big history of big ideas with a lack of follow-through, in a fraction of the time it would take you to build that mod, you could play this game, possibly have fun, and learn something about a subject that you've repeatedly expressed an interest in learning about and have purchased a book about.

I was looking at this circuits game, the description has 'integrated circuits' in it.

I am here to remind everyone this is the learn electronics thread. Not that OP is going to do that anyway.

The best way to learn electronics is to not turn it on, but take it apart, with your tongue at the right angle of course. Just don't touch any of the pots, they were calibrated by gray beards.

Who gives a shit about the component representation? All DIP packaging look the same.

You haven't got the basics down and you are jumping into circuits?

Here is a pretty cool video, this guy was inspired by fireship who made that C++ in 100 seconds video.

Maybe instead of Operation Flashpoint I'll make the mod in battlefield 2 because you can jump in that game.

I wanted the sentient integrated circuits to jump.

You really have no clue. How are you going to modify any software without access to the source? And that has nothing to do with hardware.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but if your asking about mod support both operation flashpoint and battlefield 2 has full mod support.

Them be software, nothing to do with electronic circuits.

That is just bitmap, nothing to do with actual circuits.
Do you seriously think I don't know the difference between hardware and software?

I know that a "MOD" in a "GAME" isn't going to be an actual real life "CIRCUIT". 🙄

I thought that Integrated Circuits looked like insects so I thought it'll be funny to have them behave like insects.
