I was sitting around last week thinking what I would have to do to write a client-server piece of software that would allow me to setup my own cluster. Realizing that people are not original, and that yes, I am a person, I went online because someone probably already did it before me. Why reinvent the wheel? I was looking for something that could run on a windows platform, and I discovered a link to "Distributed Computing @ home." Written in java, it looks pretty nice. The only problem is I can't get it. The page I found out about it was
http://download.com.com/3000-2094-5739787.html?tag=dir
but the link is unreliable, and repeated visits and much googling have yielded nada. It is freeware, and I'm wondering if anyone has a copy they can send my way. I'd like to give it a try.
Thanks!
