I've been running XP home for awhile now. About once a year I reformat and reinstall everything. I have the admin acct password protected and only really use it for maintenance or installing programs. I have a user acct setup to use for everything that doesn't need admin rights.

My system starts getting "hookey" after installing .net and the only app that I'm aware of that needs it is CCC. The last couple of times I've reinstalled everything its been getting worse and worse. It's at the point now when I log into the admin acct I have a list of error reports that windows wants to send in that all point to CCC. Not to mention that I just recently noticed that it would appear that .net setup a hidden passworded acct on my computer that only shows up when logged in as admin and go to user accts.

Is there something I can use to replace CCC so I can just install the driver and still have access to the options for my X850XT?

Another vote for ATI Tray tools - doesn't need .Net AFAIK, and is an excellent program.
