I suck at finding information like this. I know Alienware does not make their own panels, but I can't for the life of me find out which panel this unit uses. A found a couple for sale on Ebay used, and one place that wants $444 for it (installed) I can install it myself, but I want to know which panel to look for. I think this might be the same one Dell uses, but I could be wrong.

anyone here care to help me out? :)

You must remove the LCD panel to see exactly what part numbers are marked on it. You must get the same number as they do not interchange.

I know the model number, but Alienware doesn't manufacture their own panels, so the model # will just lead me to the Alienware part. It's going to be a Sharp panel or some one. One which I should be able to find much cheaper than the Alienware one.

It is not the model number. On the LCD itself will be a Part Number. That is what you need.
