looking for an encarta-esque dictionary program

Encarta is obsolete nowadays but there was only one tool in it that i have coveted for years, the dictionary/theasuarus/translator. I tried babylon 8, but the interface and presentation of information is worse to me. Ideally, if there is a way to do a standalone install of the encarta dictionary that would be awesome.
