I looked in my digikey catalog from 2000. They have a couple 24pin for $8-10, but nothing smaller.

I can give you the part numbers if you want.

Edit: From you picture, it looks more like it might be using two 7 pin sockets parallel to eachother.

drinkmorejave, you are probably right if i could just find two 7-pin right angled ZIF sockets. issue i have is basically i cant bend the pins. Plus the device is very expensive so hence why i am trying to find a ZIF socket similar to what i have shown.

pavester, man thanks for the search but not are close I dont need a DIP style since my packaging is butterfly it wont. Also the pin placement wont align.

sorry zero, not the right part thats for there own properiatary laser diode driver system. also that sfor a 14pin DIL not a 14 pin butterfly. i guess this part is more elusive than i thought.

where did you get the laser diode from? they might also know where to get the mount for it? i'm sure you're tried that though

tried that already. manufacturer says dont know.
