I am doing a project at my university and i am struggling to find a part. Its to hold a 14pin butterfly packaged laser diode. I am including a few pictures of the parts from various vendors that integrated it.

its the item in the top right corner that is black right next to the LCD in that screen.
 
haha, i am in desperate need of that part so if someone has seen one and can tell me where to order they will get $5 from me in paypal.

the thorlabs link shows the whole mount for there system i am looking for that little holder that sits in that thorlabs mount where the laser diode snaps in. I just need that part. not the whole assembly. the link from oemarket is for a laser diode, which i already have one.

So you're looking for the ZIF socket?

If so, it doesn't look like it's sold seperately. Maybe, you should call thorlabs and see if they can sell you just the socket.
 
CPA i am using a 14-pin pump laser here is the mech specs

the one thorlabs and ilx and many others sell is a snap in socket holder. i am trying to find one. i asked ILX and thorlabs and they had no clue where to get it.
