I'm looking for an application that will allow some keys to be detected as two different buttons. Like i want Right click to also act a the Up Arrow, and the Shift key to act as the down arrow. Not all the time, only at certain times. Confusing eh? Anything like that out there?

with the intellamouse software you can map the mouse keys to any key, and you can make the mappings application specific. Not sure about keyboard.

Thanks for making the program...i guess, though i might not try it :p

Well some games won't let you change the controls to what you want. This would be a way around that, if done right.

I understand, although the configuration you use as an example was rather... odd.

I know it, but had to try and ask.

Azzy, have you tried out the program yourself? How does it turn on/off? Also, i don't want right click to only be up and shift only to be down, it'd be nice if each could do both. As in right click would still be right click, but also be the down key. Now i'm really trying to confuse people :p

yes thats what it does... try it and see gah! Oh i think it may need the .net framework though... Scroll lock to activate, and again to deactivate. The scroll speed is a bit fast though i could adjust it..

Thanks for making the program Azzy. It worked how you said it would, though it didn't work in the game like i was hoping. I guess there is no way around it. It works on the desktop as i tested it out, though it didn't work in the game. I bound walk forward to the Up key and walk backward to the Down key in game, so i was hoping right click would make the character move forward and shift would make the character move backwards. Not sure why it doesn't work, that's just the way it is i guess. Perhaps there i a conflict in the game somewhere

I'm curious as to why it doesnt work though...a mystery i will have to solve. Any ideas? If i press the actulaly up or down key in the game the character will move forward and backward. Though while running the program, right click is the up arrow and shift is the down arrow, so it seems like it should be working. This is a confusing one... i need to go to bed.
