Im looking for an affordable but doesn't have to be dirt cheap inkjet printer that should also have a small footprint. Also must be usb.

So does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Check this web link that rates the top 10 printers. Sorry, Epson's not on the list. I have 2 Epsons and 2 HPs. They are both good printers but in ink cartridges for the Epsons are about 1/3 the price of the HPs. It really depends what kind of printing you plan to do. If its only text, you can use anything, but if you printing graphics, you must go with HP for inkjets, and Ricoh for color laser printers.

Hope this helps.

Canon IP3000 costs less than $20.00 at Tigerdirect after rebates. And this is a very decent printer with USB.

The Canon 1500 mentioned above is about the smallest decent printer around without getting one designed to be portable and which are mui expensive. But I'd recommend the Canon iP4000 or iP5000. They aren't small, but they are excellent and will save a lot of money over time. Getting hard to find. Try price search engines (e.g. Froogle) and eBay.

An older model (but still avaible) thats fairly cheap is the Epson Stylus C66. Lot of options out there. Kinda depends on what functions you want and what your definition of 'cheap' is.
