Looking for advice on CPU and Video cooler

Have an AMD Athlon 2000+ and GF-4 4400
Im pretty out of date on what the latest greatest cooling is so any recommendations would be cool.

I like my Alpha PAL 8045 as a socket A cooler. works great and can be really quiet if you use a low speed fan.

unless you'd like to adapt a CPU heatsink to the Geforce 4, Thermaltake's copper cooler is probably your best bet there.

Welcome to the forums, trouser03. :)

I also like my 8045, though there are better heatsinks nowadays for less money, namely the SLK800a. The SK7 is a few bucks less than a SLK800 and performs close to the 8045 (within 2-3 degrees).

Zalman's heatpipe cooler for video cards is a good idea and silent to boot. You'll pay for it though! :)

SLK800, the Alpha is nice, but u need to mount it to bottom of mobo and take mobo out to remove it, slk800 uses clips, just make sure u have the proper size flathead or clipping it will be a biotch! TheralTake Smart Fan II adjustable is a nice fan to go with it.
